About Us
More than just boats— we're committed to keeping every season of fun in motion.
Our head mechanic, Tony — affectionately known as the “Boat Doctor” — has been working on engines for over 30 years.
Having graduated with the highest grade in all of Ontario in 1989, Tony's passion for auto work is deep seated to say the least. Tony's passion for engines runs further than the propeller — licensed for Automotive, Marine, Truck and Coach, Heavy Equipment, RV and small engine work as well. Tony also has his Commercial A/C and TSSA Cert.
That same passion extends to entrepreneurship. With wife Nance by his side, Tony came out of retirement to open his 3rd repair shop in beautiful North Bay. Looking for a reliable boat repair shop? Before you tow your boat in or hand over the keys to the RV, here are the things people ask us most — service area, brands we work on, how we handle insurance claims, and what winter storage looks like. If your question isn't covered below, pick up the phone: Tony has been doing this for over thirty years and is happy to talk through what you're dealing with before you commit to anything.
What service area do you cover?
North Bay and surrounding Northern Ontario communities. Contact us for pickup/transport options for boats outside the immediate area.
What boat brands do you service?
Merc, OMC, Volvo, Yamaha, Honda, Evinrude, and most major and minor brands. If we can't fix it here, we know someone who can.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes. We work directly with insurance providers on repair claims and provide the documentation they need.
How long does a boat survey or appraisal take?
Most surveys are completed within a few business days of inspection, with the full written report following shortly after.
Do you offer off-season storage and winterization?
Yes. We handle full winterization including fluid draining, antifreeze, shrink-wrap, and indoor/outdoor storage options.
Are you certified?
Tony holds licenses in Automotive, Marine, Truck and Coach, Heavy Equipment, RV, and small engine work, plus Commercial A/C and TSSA certifications.
